getting ready)...hope no one minds a long winded post, i need to vent...i was in
my office in the south street seaport area when i heard the first plane hit, and
i walked over to a friend's office and saw the first tower burning...then i went
back to my office and heard the 2nd plane hit, immediately my dad called from
texas to tell me it was a 2nd plane (i thought it was explosion due to the 1st
plane) at that point i went to my boss' office and he had MSNBC and it said the
plane was a highjacked 737, at which point i wigged out, and got three guys who
work for me and told them to evacuate, the four of us started walking up water
street...just wanting to get north...i left my buddies at teh manhattan bridge
(i was afraid of the brooklyn bridge, since that is a landmark), and walked
accross to brooklyn...about halfway across the bridge, the 1st tower
collapsed...the scene was like out of a sick movie, everyone crying, screaming,
and running (myself included)...i wound up walking to the LIRR station in
brooklyn, and took the first train heading east (didn't care where it was
heading), and it took me out to long island about 20 mins from my house, where
my hysterical wife picked me up...although looking back, i do not believe my
life was ever in danger, at the time, i ran out of work, and ran for my life at
times as if it were in danger...i pray to God that Nu Zeta did not lose
anyone...i know brendan, tommy t, joe, chuck and those posted on this site (like
Lou) are ok...has anyone heard from john boles or Gabby ? i know they work

empployees because of the attack. Are building occupies floors 93-100. I was
there just a couple of weeks ago for training. My father is there all the time
